It’s hard for me to believe, but my son turns 30 tomorrow. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I was celebrating my own 30th birthday. It doesn’t seem that long ago that my son was born. I missed J.R. getting shot on Dallas that night. I had to wait for the reruns, like six months later, to see what happened! We didn’t have a VCR at the time and TIVO hadn’t been thought of yet. But, it was completely worth it. From the first night at home my son slept through the night. I remember that first night waiting for him to wake up and finally just going in and waking him up myself, so I could get back to sleep. I remember that second night I let him, and me, sleep all the way through until morning. He was such a good baby. He was such a good little boy. He was such a good teenager. He is such a good man. Happy birthday, N! Love you!!
