Tomorrow is my two year blog anniversary and I almost completely forgot it! It’s hard to believe I started blogging two years ago, with my only goals to post a photo every day, which I did for a year and a half, and to better learn my camera. After two years I met my goals and then some. I’ve since upgraded to a better camera, I’m shooting strictly in manual mode, I’m starting a portrait photography business, I co-founded a new blog (see more of that in the next paragraph or so), I started a Facebook account (which I still can’t believe I did, but whatever), and…I just had something else to add to the list, but now I can’t remember what it was…There’s that word “remember” again…Even though I’m not posting every day any more, I’m still pretty pleased with what I’ve accomplished so far. It will be interesting to see what happens in this next year. Oh, I remember!! I have met (virtually, not in person, yet) so many wonderful people through my blog. How could I have forgotten that or you?!?
In honor of my blogiversary and to say thank you, I’m having a giveaway. The winner will receive an 11×14″ print of this photo, or a photo of your choice. If you are a client or potential client and you are selected as the winner, you can convert this to a photo from your session. What do you have to do? Just comment right here – you have until Saturday at midnight and I’ll announce the winner next Sunday. I’ll leave reminders in my subsequent posts, so everybody has a chance that wants it. If you want to comment, but don’t want to win the prize, let me know in your comment.
Other important news, my post is up today at Vision and Verb so head over there and check it out. Leave me a comment – I love comments and if you comment here and there, you’ll get two entries into the drawing. Now how cool is that!?! Here’s a short snippet for you to further entice you to click that link.
Hello. My name is Toni and I am a chocoholic. That has nothing to do with it being Valentine’s Day or my topic for today; I just really needed to get that off my chest. I LOVE chocolate. There, I said it! I feel so much better now – thank you!
No, my topic isn’t nearly as mundane as some delicious chocolate – not that chocolate, good or bad, could ever be mundane. And really, bad chocolate? No, I don’t think so. No, my topic has everything to do with my latest haircut. Well, not exactly the haircut itself, but the topic of conversation with my stylist as she was cutting my hair.
