I haven’t really figured out the best day to post the monthly recap. Do I do it on the last day of the month, thereby keeping it 100% in the month it occurred, or do I do it on the first day of the month, thereby getting a full month’s worth of images? I guess you don’t really get a full month of images if you post it on the first day of the month, because then the first day of the month is really just a continuation of the previous month. Oh, I’m so glad we talked this out!! Oh, wait…today is May 1st, isn’t it? Oh well.
This has been…um, April was an eventful month. My youngest son turned 26. Yes, 26 — suddenly I feel old. Spring finally arrived. Easter came and went. I got my grass seed planted in the back yard AND built a temporary fence all by myself. And the grass is actually growing! My comforter got shredded. One of my photos was selected by Shutter Sisters as a One Word Project photo. I got a nice bonus from work. I got a new macro lens! Shutter Sisters won the Name Your Dream Assignment for Picture Hope. Swine flu hit the United States. I got a new zoom lens! There was a pet parade. My pillow got shredded. Now how can you top a shredded pillow? You can’t!
Thank you for all of your visits and comments through the month. Each visit, each comment, each one of you, are truly appreciated.
