The view from these chairs was fantastic, as was the aroma of the lavender.  It’s such a beautiful setting here at Blue Mountain Lavender.  One of the owers, Jean Paul, is from France and we  spoke for a couple of minutes.  I could listen to him talk all day long and not understand one word, but it would be totally worth it.  I love a French accent.

I spent a good couple of hours last night trying to find a poem that would work with this image, but I just wasn’t feeling the love with any of the ones that I found.  I was really in the mood for a poem, too, especially since it has been a while since I’ve posted one.  Ah well, it just wasn’t the right image I guess.

I did find the right quote for it, though, which you can read over at Vision and Verb.

Some of you were wondering what the abstract image was from a couple of posts ago – Looking up.  Well, here is your answer in the image above.  It is from the side of an old crib elevator and I was looking up through the flexible steel tubing, with the ladder cage to the right .
