Yes, Christmas in July. Friday and Saturday we had temps of 100° or greater. Whenever it does that, I’m posting a photo to remind me of the cold of winter and to quit whining.
For those who might be new to my blog, I am based in the Columbia Basin of Washington state. I love using natural light to capture agriculture, flowers, and the world around me. I also do portrait and pet photography, as the occasion arises.
If you have any questions, please contact me through the link above.
Temps of 100 degrees … That’s Christmas to me.
My kids are off to a Christmas in July event in the next few weeks and I find it funny even though it’s winter here they still wont experience snow. A freezing cold winter day is about 50 degrees for us here.
I remember the Christmas card photo set you did. I really like them so thanks for posting Frosty again.

I like the idea of Christmas in July. Nice image to go along with the idea. The temperatures in the tri-cities area always seem to be about 10° warmer than here in Spokane… which felt warm enough.

I know…wasn’t it a scorcher this weekend. Reminds me of Australia

Your patriotic little snowman is cute. Looks like you’ve been using your lensbaby again. I still haven’t been brave enough to go out and just buy one…but everytime I see one of your lensbaby pictures I’m inspired to give it a try.

Ugh. I’m not built for hot summers. And we have lovely humidity here in the midwest to double our fun.
Is Donna correct in guessing that you used a lensbaby for this shot? I simply need to get one of those!
Thanks for your kind words on my recent post. It means a lot.
Have a great week.

Great patriotic colors for this time of year. Wow, that’s hot for up there. We’re at about 110 daily now but we had an unseasonably cool June so I’m trying not to whine too much about it–but I’d be whining if I was where you are

It has been hot here too. I try not to whine either. I love summer, just not the really hot temp. anymore. Great cooling shot.
