Look Ma!

April 30, 2009

look-ma

I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…

Yes, on the day of the Pet Parade, the day I profess my love for my dogs, this is what greeted me when I got home from work last night.

I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…

I thought the pillow was safe.  Buster loves sleeping on that pillow…loved sleeping on that pillow.

I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…

The only thing left is the furniture.

I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…
I love my dogs…

Toni, you MUST send this shot AND your words in to all the dog magazines! Not one person who can’t identify with you. Wonderful story telling in this shot!

Toni, I think many of us can sure relate. My dear cyberfriend Is there a reason you don’t leave them outside during the day? A fenced yard would be much better for them as long as you provide them with some shelter from the sun. Your photo of this scene is excellent, btw — I’m surprised you thought to get such a great photo!

I’m sick with the flu plus away this coming weekend — see you Monday for catch up.

LOL… let’s see a pillow a day… times 365… equals…..! I’m wondering if Buster sleeping on the hard, cold floor tonight? It makes a fabulous subject for a picture. Much fun for us…perhaps not for you to clean up.

See yesterday’s post about Buddy digging. He would have them both out of my yard and into a neighbor’s yard or the street within minutes. I have to keep a vigilant watch on him when they are in the back yard. I had him in the back yard last summer while I worked in my studio, which faces the front yard. I wasn’t in there long when I saw Buddy running by the window.

I hope you are soon feeling better and that you don’t have the swine flu!

What a great, awesome and funny shot and reminds me why I don’t have pets. It really does tell a story. The morale of the story is go with a pet rock.

It’s a perfect shot, Toni, I agree with everyone else. But come on, he still looks like an angel, right? I’m sure he was a victim of circumstance.

Ahh yes…I have had those moments. The worst thing I can do is yell at my dogs when they do something like that…then it is pillow stuffing mixed with pee pee puddles. NOT fun cleaning that all up.
