For those who might be new to my blog, I am based in the Columbia Basin of Washington state. I love using natural light to capture agriculture, flowers, and the world around me. I also do portrait and pet photography, as the occasion arises.

Baby G revisited

March 4, 2009

Baby G

G's Hand

Since I haven’t been able to get any new shots, I am revisiting some old ones.  I thought I would start by revisiting Baby G’s photos since I didn’t have Lightroom at the time.  Here and here are the original shots for your comparison.  Okay, I just realized that first photo is different – oh well.  I imported his photos and clicked on Presets Heaven’s Normal Skin - free to download, a couple slight adjustments after that and I was done.  I did add the little frame layer in Photoshop using OnOne’s PhotoFrame - you can download a 30 day trial, but this whole process was such a breeze.  If you don’t already have Lightroom, Adobe will let you demo it for 30 days.  Gee, I sound like a billboard or something for Adobe and OnOne.

Speaking of billboards…down below the comments sections you’ll see a B & H Photo Video button.  I was contacted a couple of days ago and asked if I would consider being an affiliate.  Heck yeah!  I go there at least once a week and drool over new lenses and cameras and all things camera related.  They have all sorts of equipment, not just cameras.  I sent my son there last week to look at their DSLR’s.  Anyway, if you are considering a purchase, give that button a click and you’ll be spirited away to their website.

These are fine shots of this youngster. I especially like the overall toning. Nice! I’ve been a B&H user for many years. So sounds like you have a shop….where? :-)

Not a shop, per se, just an online affiliation. If you look down at the bottom of the page, you’ll see a little B & H ad – just click on that and it will take you to their website.
