This year, however, I get to celebrate the fact that my oldest son, N, is engaged to a wonderful young lady, and the love of his life, H. I hear love in their voices when they talk to each other, even when they are giving each other a hard time. I see love in their eyes when they look at each other. I see happiness. I see love.
Stolen words whispered in the other’s ear.
Stolen glances across the room.
Stolen kisses, when they think I’m not looking.
More kisses even when I am.
Love.

PS. Just one bit of exciting news for me that I wanted to share. I’m participating in the One Word Project at Shutter Sisters and this morning I went to see what photo they chose for today. I saw the title pop up and it read “ordinary by dailyvignette“, but it wasn’t until I scrolled down and saw the image that I realized it was me! Too funny. I’m so excited!
