This is a shot of the farm with a lovely creek flowing through. Actually that creek wasn’t there before and it is flowing directly through a field of wheat that will have to be replanted. We’ve had so much snow this year that with the warmer weather the snow is melting fairly quickly and the ground can’t absorb all the water, so it is running off. We’ve had damage to the fields and gravel roads, many of which are closed, and paved roads with load restrictions.
For those who might be new to my blog, I am based in the Columbia Basin of Washington state. I love using natural light to capture agriculture, flowers, and the world around me. I also do portrait and pet photography, as the occasion arises.
